Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15 August 2026
Welcome to Flux Stock, developed by idocode. Flux Stock is an "offline-first" application, which means your data lives on your own computer and stays under your control. This policy explains exactly what the application stores and how it is protected.
1. Your Business Data Stays on Your Device
We never collect, receive, store, or transmit your business data, not your products, your customers, your suppliers, your invoices, your prices, or any amount of money. None of it is ever sent to idocode or to any third party, and Flux Stock does not need an internet connection to work. The only thing that may ever leave this computer is the technical improvement data described in section 3, which contains none of the above.
2. What Is Stored on Your Device
Everything you enter is kept only in a local database on your computer. This includes:
- Products & inventory: your product catalog, cost and selling prices, price tiers and volume discounts, and stock levels and movements.
- Customers & suppliers: names, phone numbers, emails and addresses, along with any fiscal identifiers you choose to record (NIF, RC, AI, NIS), credit limits and payment terms.
- Financial records: invoices, quotes, sales and purchases, payments, credit and debit notes, and receivables and payables.
- Your company profile: business name, contact details, tax identifiers, logo and invoice settings.
- Activity log: the app keeps an internal record of important actions, what changed, the user role that made the change, and when, so you have your own audit trail. This log, including which user did what, never leaves your device.
3. Improvement Data
The only thing Flux Stock ever sends us is general technical information that helps us fix errors and improve the app. Nothing about your business goes with it.
- Anonymous summary (on, and you can switch it off). Once a day at most, and only when this computer is online: the app version, your operating system, the interface language, which screens and features were used and how often, how long common operations took, error codes, and rough size ranges such as 201 to 500 products. It carries no identifier of any kind, so we cannot tell one shop from another.
- Named summary (off unless you turn it on). The same information, plus your licence number and the name on your licence, so we can help you directly. Off by default, and one click to turn off again.
It never contains a product, customer or supplier name, any amount of money, your fiscal identifiers (NIF, RC, AI, NIS), your phone number or address, anything you have typed, your activity log, which employee did what, or your computer's hardware fingerprint.
You can see exactly what would be sent, and switch it off, under Settings. Switching off takes effect immediately. If sending fails the app ignores it: it never interrupts your work and never blocks a sale.
Reporting a problem is separate, and only happens when you ask for it. The "Report a problem" button in Settings writes a technical file wherever you choose: the app version, your system, your licence, the state of the application, the most recent technical messages, and anything you type in the box. It contains no products, no customers and no amounts. Nothing is sent automatically. The file stays on your computer until you decide to send it to us yourself, and you can open and read it first.
4. How Long We Keep It
Anonymous usage summaries are kept for 24 months and are then deleted automatically. Identified usage data is kept for 12 months, or until you withdraw your consent or ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. Deletion is automatic and enforced by the database itself, not by hand.
5. How Your Data Is Protected
- Automatic encryption: your database is automatically encrypted on your device using AES-256, with a key tied to this computer. A copy of the database file cannot be opened on another machine.
- Protected backups & exports: when you create a manual backup or export a file (database or CSV), you can set your own password to encrypt it. Keep this password safe, it cannot be recovered if lost.
- You stay in control: at any time you can export your data, back it up, or permanently erase it, including a full factory reset, from the Settings screen.
- Improvement data waiting to be sent is stored encrypted on your device, with the same protection as your database, and is deleted as soon as it has been delivered.
6. Software Licensing
To confirm that your license is valid, Flux Stock creates a unique fingerprint from your computer's hardware. This fingerprint is stored locally and on your USB license key, and is used only to verify your license on this machine. It is never transmitted to idocode or anyone else, licensing works completely offline. Your licence number and the name your licence was issued to are sent only if you have switched on identified usage data, as described in section 3.
7. Data Collected by Our Website
Sections 1 to 6 describe the application on your computer. This section describes our website, flux-stock.idocode.dev, where Flux Stock is presented and where you placed your order. It is a separate system: nothing on it can reach the data inside the application, and the application sends it nothing.
- When you send the order form: your name, your business name if you give one, your wilaya, your phone number, your email if you give one, and your message. We use them to call you back and to prepare your order, and we keep them for as long as we are dealing with you as a customer or a prospect.
- On every page of that website: we use Meta's measurement pixel (Facebook, Instagram) to see which advertisements bring visitors to it. It receives the page being viewed, your browser, and your IP address, and it places a cookie in your browser to recognise the same visit across pages.
Your name, phone number and email are sent to Meta only if you tick the consent box on the order form. They are sent in encrypted (hashed) form, so that Meta can tell that a sale came from one of its advertisements without being able to read your details. That box is off unless you turn it on, ticking it is never required to place an order, and if you leave it alone we send Meta nothing that names you.
To refuse the pixel altogether, block third-party scripts or use your browser's tracking protection; the website works exactly the same without it, and the application on your computer is not affected either way. To withdraw a consent you gave on the order form, or to ask us to delete what the order form recorded, contact us using the details at the end of this document.
8. Your Rights
Under Algerian Law 18-07 on the protection of natural persons in the processing of personal data, you may ask us to confirm whether we hold data relating to you and give you a copy of it; to correct it, which we will do within ten days; to stop processing it; or to withdraw a consent you have given. You may withdraw a consent at any time, without giving a reason. Withdrawal stops all further collection immediately and has no effect whatsoever on your licence or your use of the application.
One honest limitation: anonymous usage summaries contain no identifier, so we have no way to find, produce, or delete the summaries that came from a particular shop. If you do not want anonymous summaries collected at all, switch them off in Settings, which stops them at the source.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details at the end of this document.
9. Changes to This Policy
This is version 4 of this policy, in effect from 15 August 2026. If we change what is collected, or why, we will publish an updated version, raise its version number, and ask again for any consent the change requires. The version that was in effect when you gave a consent is recorded together with that consent.
